Payment conditions

A deposit of 50% is to be paid upon reservation by bank transfer or credit card via our online secure payment form.

Full payment: Remaining 50% to be paid latest 10 days before your arrival.
Cancellations

Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival date: 90% of your advance payment will be reimbursed.

Cancellations within 30 days before arrival date: no reimbursement of downpayment.

Cancellations within 10 days before arrival or shortened stays: full payment is due.
Do you have a parking?
YES
However, our car park is small and limited to one normal-sized car per treehouse. We can also find space for 2 motorbikes instead of a car.
Please note there is no space for mobile homes or caravans.
Bikes can be left beneath your treehouse.
Are the treehouses heated?
YES
Not only are our treehouses comfortably heated, but we also transform the interior into a warm, cozy cocoon in the colder months with luxury bed linen and furnishings, making your treehouse the perfect place to be in case of rain or bad weather.

PS: the pool is not heated. As it is a natural pool, the water molecules keep the warmth much better than in a chemically treated pool.
We also have a sauna, which creates a great sauna-pool experience on days (or evenings) that are a bit fresher.
Can we bring a pet?
YES
You can bring your well-trained and gentle dog for a tiny fee of 50 euros per week.
We ask that you keep your dog on a leash at all times when in the gardens to respect the tranquility of other guests and their children. Please also ensure that your pet does not infringe on the domain’s cleanliness.

Therapy dogs are always welcome. Please contact us before making a reservation in case of doubt.
Closest airport?
Nice Airport is only 20-minutes from Orion by car.
Alternatively, you could arrive via Marseille airport, but do check to determine if potentially cheaper flight tickets are worth the longer drive (almost two hours).

The closest train station is Cagnes-sur-Mer, a mere 10 minutes away.
Can we privatize the entire domain?
YES
Our four treehouses can be booked for exclusive use by your group. This includes full access to the gardens and the ecological pool. Contact us for more details.
Should we rent a car?
Although a car can be convenient for getting to Orion, if your main intent is to rest and enjoy Saint-Paul de Vence, your treehouse and the Orion garden, you do not necessarily need one.

To get to us you can book a taxi/uber or take bus 400 from downtown Nice, Nice airport or the Cagnes-sur-Mer train station. More details here.
There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance of Orion. You will also find a supermarket 2 km down the chemin du Malvan.
For local excursions, you can easily reach Vence, Cagnes-sur Mer and Nice from the bus stop in Saint-Paul de Vence village.

You can also rent electric bikes, that will be delivered at Orion.
Are children welcome?
During the summer season, Orion Treehouses open up for families. It is a heavenly place for children.
In 2023 this is from 1st July to 3rd September.

During mid-season, when most children are in school, we assume that Orion will be more for couples and therefore we priced the treehouses for 2 persons. We do happily accept children as well, at a small extra cost of 20 euros per day per child
In 2023 this is from 8th April to 1st July and from 2rd September to 4th November.
All seasons: babies and toddlers up to 2 years of age are always welcome. A high chair and a baby cot wait for them free of charge.
Can we cook at Orion?
YES
Each treehouse is equipped with a beautiful glamping kitchen and a terrace where it will be good dining.
BBQs remain forbidden though - as we are in the midst of classified and protected woods.
